month. Kelvin Edwards confirmed his status as number one in our province
with a commanding display throughout the tournament which saw him to a
straight sets win every time he took to the court including the final
against Clinton Broedelet. Mike Farrer, who lost 3-1 to Broedelet in
preliminary matches, easily ousted Jason Le Roux to claim 3rd spot.

Janet Byrnes saw off the challenges of Michel Botha to be crowned Border
women's champion for the first time while Leenta Marx ended 3rd after
beating Shan Townes 3-1.

LEAGUE SQUASH

Half way through the 2005 squash season sees Old Boys dominating both men
and women's first league squash. The men have a commanding 30 point
advantage over nearest rivals King, while the women's A and B sides are both
well ahead of the nearest pursuers, Gonubie.

Logs :

Ladies:Oby A 163, Oby B 145, Gon 116, Bby 112, Hms 103

Latest fixtures saw King pipping bottom of the pile Beacon Bay 14-10, where
Dwye Scott upset the previously unbeaten Bradley Worth 3-1. With Border's
number one unavailable for Cambridge, Hams were able to get a fullhouse of
points and in the process move ahead of their opponents on the evening in
the current log standings. Women's matches saw Old Boys B whipping Hams and
